What Delivery Adds to the Bill
Menu Markup
Delivery menus carry higher prices than the counter, which covers the platform's commission. It applies before a single fee is added.
Delivery and Service Fees
Charged per order and scaled by distance and demand. On a single $9.88drink they can rival the drink itself.
Small-Order and Tip
A one-drink order often triggers a small-order fee, and a tip on top. Ordering for two or three spreads the fixed costs.
The Prices on This Site
HEYTEA does not publish a US menu online, so the prices across this site come from the delivery listing, which is the only public source. Treat them as the upper end: what you pay at the counter is generally lower.
Where Delivery Is Available
What Survives Delivery and What Does Not
This menu is unusually sensitive to time, which makes the choice of drink matter more for a delivery order than the choice of platform.
The cheese cloud is the clearest casualty. It is real whipped cream rather than the powdered non-dairy topping most bubble tea shops use, so it folds into the drink within about ten minutes. A capped drink that spent twenty-five minutes in a courier bag arrives as a good milk tea rather than as the drink you paid for.
Matcha is the second. Properly whisked matcha stays suspended and a rushed one settles, and either way a long journey separates it. Green sediment at the bottom of a delivered cup is normal rather than a fault.
Tapioca is the third. Cooked pearls firm up as they cool and cannot be refrigerated at all, so brown sugar drinks are noticeably chewier on arrival than at the counter.
What travels well is the fruit tea range, especially the blended Boom builds, which stay even from the first sip to the last. The cold brews are the safest of all, since they are made hours in advance by design and a delivery window costs them nothing.
Most shops will send any whipped topping in a separate container if you choose the cloud-on-the-side option, which is the single most useful setting for a delivery order.
