DirectionsPrices, calories and sizes for all 39 items, the same list every California shop pours.

HEYTEA entered California through the Bay Area and the shape of the network still shows it. San Jose, Milpitas, Fremont, Cupertino, Sunnyvale and Daly City form a ring around the South Bay, and most of them sit within a short drive of each other.
The Southern California stores took a different route. Rather than clustering, they landed in the places with established Chinese and Taiwanese communities, which is why Monterey Park, San Gabriel and Rowland Heights all have stores while much of central Los Angeles has none.
Two California stores are outliers worth knowing about. The Beverly Hills shop sits on North Rodeo Drive, which is an unusual address for a tea chain, and the Los Angeles location is on the USC campus edge rather than in a shopping district.
Mall locations account for a good share of the rest. Westfield Culver City, Westfield UTC in San Diego, Stonestown Galleria in San Francisco and the Glendale Galleria all carry HEYTEA counters, which means their hours follow the mall rather than the brand.
Ratings across the state vary more than the menu does. The San Jose Hostetter and Rowland Heights stores both sit at 4.8 stars with hundreds of reviews, while some of the mall counters run a full point lower on the same drinks.
That gap is usually about queue length rather than quality. A drink with a whipped cloud on top is at its best within ten minutes, and a mall counter serving a weekend crowd is handing over cups that have waited.
The fruit tea range is the safest order in a busy store, since nothing in it depends on a cap holding its shape. Coconut Mango Boom at $8.99 travels better than most.
Prices are consistent across California stores, which is worth knowing before driving to a different branch. What changes between locations is availability of the seasonal drinks and the Tea Lab range, which the smaller counters do not always carry.
